Soaring Spheres

Welcome to Soaring Spheres (First Edition), the first tabletop RPG by The Valentine Estate. Soaring Spheres is my attempt at removing the overwhelming rules & increasing the accessibility of roleplaying while still maintaining tactics and mechanical depth. Tactics for Soaring Spheres is about having a variety of decisions without having an excess of rules to block your options. Whatever you do, you must do with intent.

This game is also about being at a low status. You are incredibly vulnerable to failure. The rules do not offer the easiest combat route, so you must be ready to survive through your intellect. Decision-making is the only way to power through some difficult scenarios without taking major damage.

You are an adventurer living in the country of Gradisa, the homeland of humanity. It's been 20 years since the Gradient Axis, and the continent is flooded with Gradient Treasures & monetary gain. The Union of Undying Light regulates this practice of adventuring, but does not promise safety. How will you thrive in this post-modern world? Gather a team to conquer missions, make your pay, and rise in status. Your mind is your only hope.
